There are so many challenges facing those of us in the financial industry today. Now more than ever, it is critical that we fund GBA’s State Political Action Committee (PAC) so the industry can support candidates who will listen to our members’ concerns. You can do that by participating in Leadership GBA’s ninth annual Georgia BankPAC Classic on Wednesday, October 27, 2010, at the Brickyard at Riverside in Macon. This two-person scramble tournament promises to be a challenging and fun event for everyone. It is also a great opportunity to invite your legislators and directors to meet and play golf with your colleagues in the banking industry. The proceeds from this tournament will be donated to the GBA StatePAC.*

Registration Fee: $250 per two-man team or $150 per person ($50 discount for 2 man team). Special Offer: Hole Sponsorship + 2 Person Team = $450 ($100 discount). This fee includes greens fees, cart, range balls, lunch and reception. Please make your check payable to the GBA State PAC.

Tournament Format: Two-person scramble with prizes awarded for low net teams.

Course Information: The Brickyard at Riverside is an immaculate 18-hole private golf course nestled within 7,128 yards of pristine landscape in north Macon, Georgia. The clubhouse and pavilion overlook the championship golf course, redesigned by 10-time PGA Tour winner Mark McCumber in 2005. It is a unique golf club that provides a championship golf challenge within a private club atmosphere.

* The GBA StatePAC contributes only to candidates running for state-level office such as the Georgia General Assembly, the Governor’s office and the Lieutenant Governor’s office. Contributions can be made from an individual, from bank funds if you are a state chartered bank or from a national bank holding company if the contribution is made from funds other than those resulting from the operations of the national bank.
